"Well...?" George sighed as his twin flopped on the bed that he had claimed the first day of their first year. Fred yawned and laid back over the blankets and his brother's legs as he stared at the canopy with half-lidded eyes.
"It could be worse," he admitted. George rolled his eyes and plucked at his brother's ginger hair. Both Weasley twins were sporting black eyes and Fred's nose was still bleeding a bit. His left eye was starting to blossom into a lovely shiner as well which made the other wonder if the pain on his own eye meant that he had one to match.
"Mum is going to kill us," he pointed out unnecessarily. Fred groaned.
"Oh yeah,"

How true, and positively hilarious. I like how you used that mythological "Who is lying" story and added that extremely painful, and yet extremely funny twist that both of them are lying.
